Here is the collection of commissioned works that we’ve taken on over the years. Some customers come to us with their own designs and visions, others may just want some variations on our stock models, but we always strive to bring their dreams to life.
Hammerhead – J.F
02/2023
A modified Hammerhead commissioned by J.F.
J.F. requested a beautiful Olivewood and purple resin mixed top, additional edge carving & contouring, a Floyd Rose bridge, and more complex electronics.
Syrtis – M2TM Kent
03/2022
This Syrtis was commissioned by the team at Metal 2 The Masses – Kent, as a prize for a charity draw. Unlike the other Syrtis models, it was of an all wood construction and had a great looking black/grey burst.
Ikara – J.T
10/2020
A lovely commissed Ikara model, made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of J.T’s music school. They requested a custom inlay of ‘1010’ on the 10th fret, a Buckeye burl top and a roasted Maple neck. The build was finished of with Gold Evo fretwire and gold hardware. โ
Firecaster – P.H
08/2020
P.H commissioned the Firecaster as they wanted a guitar that was somewhere in between a T-style and a Firebird. P.H chose a beautiul Walnut base and a Swamp-Ash top. The neck and body mid section are both a laminate of Rosewood, Bocote & Purpleheart.
Teumessian Fox – C.F
03/2018
This build was a no nonsense metal machine. A single high output pickup with a master volume and kill switch. These were paired with a lightweight Ash & Buckeye burl body, a Wenge, Maple & Mahogany neck, topped with a beautiful Pale Moon Ebony fretboard.
Catalyst – C.L
01/2019
A straightforward Catalyst commission. This one didn’t differ too much from our stock model, apart from a Pau Ferro fretboard with glow-in-the-dark ring inlays. This one had some particularly nice visible burl edges!
Manticore – P.G
08/2021
The Manticore was a beastly build! P.G wanted a large body bass, taking some inspiration from one their JayDee basses. They also wanted to incorporate resin channels, a Hipshot trem and a set of SIMS Quad active pickups with pre-amp.
T-Wolf – T.R
03/2022
This commission was a bit of an anomaly for us, being the most traditional build we’ve ever been asked to make. There were a a few changes from the standard however, the body was 10% smaller than full size and we used our standard Stone Wolf headstock.
Atlas – M.M
06/2021
High constrasting colours with complementary resin channels was at the heart of this commission. M.M requested a Jarrah top, Mahogany middle and a Yew back. The outer wing sections were made from 3000yr old Bog Oak
Necromancer – M.J
04/2020
The Necromancer was a brutal looking build. It was commissioned by M.J, a big fan of Lord of the Rings, the build was meant to convey a sense of an ancient weapon. The LED inlay was made to resemble Sauron’s Eye.
Ukiyo – G.W
03/2019
G.W came to us wanting a small form factor EX style guitar with a resin/Olivewood mixed top. They had slight movement disabilities and the way body felt and balanced was very important. We worked with them to get the shape just right and they couldn’t be happier!
Hangman – J.F
11/2018
The Hangman took inspiration from many different places. J.F requested resin channels, similar to our Syrtis model, but with a different shape. The guitar also features centre mounted pickups and a fully scalloped fretboard with Gold Evo fretwire.
Catalyst – C.M
09/2020
For this Catalyst commission, C.M requested a intricate fretboard inlay, made up of intertwining gold and silver vines. While this was very time consuming, the results worked so well with the rest of the build.
C.Masta 6 – J.T
04/2018
The C.Masta 6 was the first headless commission we received. The shape was roughly sketched by J.T and then we refined it together. They also requested a custom inlay comprised of their initials and a lotus petal.
Batalele – T.H
05/2018
Certainly one of the more novel commissions we’ve ever built. This guitarlele had Batman LEGO minifigures cast into the resin along with some marbles that T.H had owned since childhood.
Aesc – J.P
08/2016
This guitar was our first commission and, as such, has a huge place in our hearts! There were quite a few requests with this one; fretless past the 15th fret, Evertune bridge, custom inlay and an all English Ash body.
Catalyst – A.V
03/2017
This was a a beautiful Catalyst commission. Two opposing Poisonwood burls, with some incredible grain patterns, cast in clear resin. Without a doubt, one of our more popular models, the Catalysts never fail to look stunning.
